For decades, My Sister's Closet has been committed to positively impacting communities in Phoenix and San Diego. Call it karma, a tax deduction, paying it forward, guilt or whatever you want -- success that is shared can only bring about good things for everyone.

As our corporate giving continued to flourish, we decided to create our own official 501(c)3 charitable organization in 2015 called My Sisters' Charities. We really stretched on that name, huh?

My Sister's Closet, My Sister's Attic and Well Suited contribute revenue, person-power and unsold merchandise to the foundation, which in turn helps to support causes we are passionate about, including:

  • Protecting wildlife in peril
  • Healing women leaving abusive relationships
  • Ending the euthanasia of unwanted cats and dogs

In addition, we opened My Sisters' Charities Thrift Store, where 100% of net profits go back to non-profits in our community. We recently donated $1 million to the AZ Humane Society. To learn more, please visit mysisterscharities.org.

And now, we are looking forward in our business by making a commitment to developing more sustainable business practices.

Since 1991 we've been the top destination for recycling all of your designer clothing and accessories. Sure, you've made some easy money in the process, but you've also helped the environment by finding a second home for these items instead of sending them to the landfill. But together we can do even more to positively impact our planet.

For example, we've already eliminated disposable water bottles and plastic shopping bags from our entire organization. We will continue rolling out new initiatives, as part of our "Take the Pledge Against Plastic" campaign. So rally with us to help make our neighborhoods, country and planet better places to live!
