For 35 years, Eco-Chic has believed that luxury deserves a second life.
This year, we're proud to celebrate 35 years of My Sister's Closet, My Sister's Attic, and Well Suited—a milestone that reflects not only our history, but the incredible community of shoppers, consignors, employees, and supporters who have made it all possible.
What began as a single boutique in Phoenix in 1991 has grown into one of the Southwest's leading luxury resale retailers, serving customers throughout Arizona, California, and beyond.
Where It All Began
When My Sister's Closet first opened its doors, resale looked very different than it does today.
Many resale stores felt crowded and difficult to shop, and selling luxury items often meant navigating an inconvenient process. The founders of Eco-Chic believed there was a better way.
Their vision was simple: create beautiful, welcoming stores where customers could discover exceptional designer pieces and consignors could enjoy a convenient, service-first experience. No appointments. Convenient locations. Open every day. A luxury experience from beginning to end.
That vision quickly resonated.
Shoppers loved discovering incredible designer finds at a fraction of retail prices, while consignors embraced an easy way to turn pieces they no longer used into cash.
Growing Into a Family of Luxury Brands
Today, the company includes three distinct brands:
• My Sister's Closet offers curated designer fashion, handbags, shoes, jewelry, and accessories from brands including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Hermès, Prada, Saint Laurent, Dior, Rolex, and more.
• My Sister's Attic brings luxury resale into the home with designer furniture, artwork, lighting, décor, and one-of-a-kind statement pieces.
• Well Suited offers premium menswear, including designer suits, sport coats, shoes, watches, and accessories for the modern gentleman.
From its Phoenix roots, Eco-Chic has expanded across the Valley and into California while continuing to grow its online shopping experience.
Sustainability Before It Was a Trend
Long before 'circular fashion' became part of everyday conversation, Eco-Chic understood the value of resale.
Every item that finds a new home extends the life of luxury goods, reduces waste, and helps make high-end fashion and home furnishings more accessible.
Over the past 35 years, millions of designer items have been given a second life through Eco-Chic stores.
A Community That Made It Possible
"Our customers, consignors, employees, and supporters have been the heart of Eco-Chic from the very beginning," says Heather Zorge, CEO of Eco-Chic. "What started as a simple idea has grown into an incredible community that has embraced resale as both a smart and sustainable choice. We are honored to celebrate this milestone and grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey."
Looking Ahead
As Eco-Chic celebrates 35 years, the focus remains on the future. The company continues to invest in expanding the resale movement, reaching new markets, curating the finest luxury inventory, and delivering exceptional experiences for both shoppers and consignors.
Because while trends may change, great style, thoughtful shopping, and sustainable choices never go out of fashion.
